Contest Brief

I want to launch a wordpress site using the Twenty Twenty-Four Template. The name of the blog is The Joyful Explorer. with a tag line Notes From The Road.
I have reserved the domain under wordpress.com
This is a personal travel journal—real experiences, observed and remembered. Not a commerce site.
As to why I doing this blog:

I’ve reached a point in life where I finally have the time to travel more freely.

This blog is a way to keep a record of where I go, what I see, and what I experience along the way. I’ve already found that places can blur together if I don’t write them down.

It’s also a way for friends to follow along, and maybe find ideas for their own trips.

I’m not trying to create a travel guide or a business. This is simply a personal journal—notes from the road as I go.

Some posts may be detailed, others just observations from a day or a place that stood out.

If you’re reading this, I’m glad you’re here.

The day to day input on the site will be one that identifieys each city, pictures, restaurants, sentiments, thoughts... etc

    The Issue:
    Many of the designs will be submited AI generated — not custom-built websites. Some are static images or mockups with no functional backend, while others have been created using AI website generators like Lovable.ai.

    How Scammers Operate:
    These participants — including professional spammers — generate a website using AI tools, deploy it (often via platforms like Vercel.app), and share the live link to gain your trust. The link looks legitimate, but the website itself is nothing more than a templated, AI-generated page with zero custom development.

    The Reality:
    Do not waste your budget on these submissions. Their work is essentially fraud — worth pennies, yet sold for much more. You could generate a similar result yourself using the same free or low-cost AI tools

      How to Verify Real Websites:
      To identify genuine custom work, especially WordPress sites:

      Ask for a WordPress dashboard screenshot showing the backend

      Request an editor screenshot with page builders or custom code

      Use a WordPress theme detector tool to verify if a submitted link is running a premade theme

      If a submission cannot provide backend proof, it is likely AI-generated or templated.

      I strongly recommend reviewing all finalists carefully before selecting a winner. I'm happy to assist if you need help identifying any suspicious entries.
