    After much deliberation, we would like to congratulate jtmarechal on his winning submission #440 .

    Special thanks to oscarhawkins, contestlover, and sqhrizvi110. Your excellent designs received much positive feedback and praise, and made it difficult us to narrow our final four down to just one winning entry.

    After some focus group testing, the winning entry was decided by committee. Based on the results of our focus group testing, we decided that our target audience was identifying much more strongly with a mascot based design. While it was a close race between jtmarechal and oscarhawkins, there was ultimately stronger support for jtmarechal's design -- it was seen as having more personality. I witnessed, personally, several unexpected smiles when we presented #440 internally.

    Thanks again for everyone's work and participation. We are extremely pleased with the result!

    Thanks to everyone for am amazing job. We've been truly impressed by both the number of submissions we've received, as well as the large number of professional designers participating. We now have the very difficult task of selecting a single design from the many excellent options available. We will post once more when we have selected a winner, and give you an update on our thought process in selecting the winner.     Yes, both the logos are looking mostly same but it is just a coincidence. It's very common thing that two designer may think similar way. There are so many entries in this contest which looks almost similar to each other. Thanks 'logomaster055' for your remarkable observation, but for your kind information that I am not copied it from your mentioned link.

    I have one final idea to toss out there before this contest ends tomorrow, just in case anyone feels like making an attempt. It occurred to me earlier today that the mathematical 'pie' symbol is actually just slightly shy of looking like 'n' and 'f' combined. Some variation on this symbol might be an interesting concept to work with.
