Please read through the message board before beginning work, I've left a lot of feedback there as far as what I've liked and not liked so far.

This is Sealed - I will be sending my responses to you as you send in your ideas. I'm looking to close this quickly, so if something good comes across, we'll go with that. Once awarded, you must provide all source files of the logo, in Vector format!! (.ai or .eps)

I have a new startup company that is in need of a new logo. I'm running out of time to handle the initial creative on this project, so I'm passing it along to you all.

The company is brand new, very small, starting with only one person. The initials of the company are DG - however, my client has already expressed that they are not too thrilled with those letters being in the logo. (especially if it looks anything like Dolce Gabbana).

Feel free to try some logos with the letters D and G in them, but chances are we won't go with that.

As far as colors go - as long as it's corporate / business like - we're good to go - have some freedom with that - keep in mind though that I'm very particular about logo standards - (it should look just as good Black and white, as it does in full color) and the logo needs to stand alone - without having the company name next to it. As long as the logo conveys some sense of Business Development Consultant - anything about helping to Grow Your Business. If you need more information, leave some comments below.

The Company is a Business Development Consulting Group. So they help businesses grow in sales, market share, etc.

Here's a creative idea - see if you can incorporate two different icons/images together, without actually BEING the image itself... so let's say, as an example (don't use this) but if you were able to incorporate a CheckMark and an Exclamation point - so that, when you look at it, you can see both parts, without it just being a checkmark or exclamation point :) just a thought, I love subtle logos like that. Make you think twice

try to stay away from too much gradient/shading/highlights - these are all things that don't translate well to black and white - and a lot of design these days is going to that flat clean look - rather than the 3D look (although, a 2d image that has a 3d quality to it is nice)

I've left this comment on a few different designs, so I'll put it here - be careful when using arrows that it doesn't look phallic, or come across as possibly looking phallic at all - it's something I struggle with in designs all the time - so just keep that in the back of your minds. Thank you!

Don't forget - that the logo should be just as good black and white as it is color. If you make your logo black and white, and it doesn't look as good, then it won't work. :)

The full name of the company is irrelevant, it's the owners name for the company. The company name should not be included on the logo.
