Contest Brief

We need a logo design done for our new brand Rypped. Rypped is a fitness supplement brand focusing on sports supplements such as protein powers, protein bars and other sports supplements used when working out at the gym or physical training. The brand will be used by professional athletes, people training at the gym and other individuals looking to get Rypped! ;-)

We are considering two types of logos.

1. Without the use of an icon or favicon next to the text.
2. Text only or text/graphics only. We would also like to see the logo as a URL like "Rypped.com" or "RYPPED.com".

For the first one we may want to include a illustration of a mans "rypped" body next to the text. I have attached an image of a mans ripped body to provide you with an example of what the illustration will need to look like.

For the second one we are open to ideas on powerful text using bright and powerful colors (possibly florescent colors or other really bright colors like shown in the example logos). I have attached a few logos that show powerful text and graphics similar to what style we like.

After we select a winner of the logo contest we will be willing to pay the designer extra money to create a few mock up images of what our logo would look like on the packaging for these sports supplements. I have attached an image of how one company uses their logo and how they package their products. We would want to create something similar to show our new logo on the front of containers like shown on the example image.

We would like to make something clear about adding an illustration or icon beside/withing the logo. We do not want a "body builder" looking image or body builder icon. Most body builder style images are poses of someone flexing their muscles with their arms. This is not what we want. We either do not want an illustration whatsoever (just font) or use an illustration sparingly (something small or built into the logo). Hope this helps.... ;-)

I have added a few colors we are considering. Bright teal (we would want the logo teal and black or teal on a black background), bright pink and bright purple. These colors can be used in combination with black. See attachments for colors. We are also considering fluorescent orange and fluorescent yellow.
