We are a small Taxi service company called "SpotCab Services" offering online booking of cabs conveniently via mobile or computer as well as owning and running our own fleet of cars. Our goal is to leverage cutting edge technology to solve problems faced by traditional cab service companies and pass the benefits to the end users.
We are looking for timeless logo designs which will appeal to people from all different walks of life (geography, culture, religion, language etc.)
1. First design should be for the company logo and
2. The second design (logo) should be for the mobile application (we are calling it voyaz for now) to track the cab
Both the design should be modern and minimalist and should have formal appeal to them.
The company logo should be identifiable when scaled down to 16x16 pixel size.
Please feel free to ask relevant clarifying questions.
We feel too many entries are biased towards using gears and tools. For a Cab service company, tools, chains or gears etc are not well suited (may be better suited for mechanical shops or garage which are are not). We would prefer which represents excellent and reliable taxi ride experience with ease of calling a taxi and managing the trip. In addition, we want the logo to represent elegance and comfort not the sporty or fast & furious image.
Another theme we have seen among the entries that they contain are too details. What we mean is- if you shrink your design to 16x16 pixel size (just the logo without the name SpotCab Services) then they do not preserve the design elements or does not resemble the original design closely. We need a design which does retain the core elements of the design even if we shrink it to 16x16 pixel size.
Thirdly, we see none of the entries contain any logo design for voyaz (a twist for voyage word) which is the logo for the app providing the tracking information to the user and is independent from the Spotcab services logo.
We would like to encourage the designer to think beyond the combination to two "s" and other letter based designs.
