Contest Brief

Edisse is currently redesigning their website (www.edisse.com) and is in need for a logo redesign. We are after a professional and mature logo that depicts what we are doing as a startup. Edisse is a startup that aims to create innovative, technologically advanced products to assist with the health and wellbeing of elderly, and give their carers and family members peace of mind. Our first product is an automatic panic button with fall detection capabilities for the elderly in the form of a watch.

Logo designs without the health cross found in the current logo will be preferred.

Please keep in mind our targeted customers are between (30-60) and the users of our products would be around 65+

The design will be:

  ill explain the concept ,as this logo is not just specifically related to a watch iv shown it look more like a tick mark to visualize correctness...it looks like a watch and E aswell... still i can make more changes

  Thanks for your designs! I think the concept is quite clever, with the E of edisse also being the watch. One of the drawbacks of this logo is if we do decide to move away from the watch product, the logo becomes a bit obsolete because it's less versatile. However we may still go with something product specific such as this logo. About the logo itself, I think the roundness of the fonts make it look less mature classy, and more child-like and fun, which is not the what we are after.

  108 and 109 is interesting, I like the abstraction and how you are starting to play with the letter 'e'. However I think it looks more suitable for a construction or architecture company because it looks a bit like floor plans at the moment

  Hi, thanks for your design, glad you enjoyed creating it. It's a nice and clean design, however I don't think we are actually trying to move away from the casual hand-writing font. Also it looks a little bit like Edisseo instead of Edisse

  Thanks for your designs. I like your use of gradients. I don't like the imagery with the crescent shapes however. The sharp and slender imagery in #88 is too contrasting compared to the font. The lighter font in the #11 is better than the chunky one in #88 and the fun looking one in #89. A more versatile and metaphorical imagery would be good.

  I like how it's simple and clean, but it's a little too sportsy/action, would suit fast paced product more. We would prefer a more timeless/classic design which may appeal to people who would buy our product (30-50 year olds) and the people who would use our product (65+)
