Contest Brief

Challenge is to create SVG logo for EternaFruit with a four-sided ring in a continuous quarter-twist as one of the objects.

Please see example drafts attached. Spruce up the "EternaFruit" lettering.

Your submission of the "EternaFruit" lettering portion of the logo must look great at exactly 120 pixels (width) x 30 pixels (height).

Your submission must include individual SVG files of just your ring at multiple viewing angles and an individual SVG file of just your "EternaFruit" lettering.

On a four-sided ring with a continuous half-twist, if you stand the ring on it's side and start at the very bottom edge and move your finger along the edge, you'll be touching the side edge at the top of the ring and as you continue you'll be touching the top edge of the bottom of the ring. If you go around the ring twice, you'll end up back where you started.

The difference for a four-sided ring with a continuous quarter-twist would be that if you start at the very bottom edge and move your finger along the edge, you'll be half way to the side edge at the top of the ring and fully on the side at the bottom of the ring. If you go around the ring twice, you'll be touching the top edge of the bottom of the ring. You would have to go around the ring four times to end up back where you started at the very bottom edge.

The ring I gave is a half-twist. I am looking for a quarter-twist.

If you would imagine a four-sided column. Twist the top of the column a quarter turn. Make sure the twist is continuous along the entire length of the column. Connect the two ends as you form a ring. That's what I want.

  Yes you are on the right track. Exactly the type of work I\'m looking for. Please make your ring sharper. Make it look like industrial jewelry.

  Wow, that's almost perfectly what I had imagined, yet, it's just missing that liquid element. It's as if the metal had dried and was no longer liquid. I know the space in the form of the letters is very narrow, but is not possible to give it that liquid illusion? Just a few hours to go!

  Do not change the basic shape or font of the EternaFruit lettering. Give it more of a 3D look using shadows and texturing. It would be really cook if you could make it look like it was pored from liquid platinum into a mold of the current shape.
  
  The ring design should be similar to #5 , but the texture more like #1 with sharper edges.
