Contest Brief

REQUIREMENT: Logo required for new business

ABOUT: The Lifestyle Company is a new lifestyle and event management business, with professional organisers and personal assistants, who help busy individuals, executives and media personalities with their personal and professional affairs. It is a premium service, targeting high net worth individuals so therefore we need a logo that represents sophistication, class, discretion & professionalism.

The business name is The Lifestyle Company, however it will often be referred to by the initials TLC. Both the name and the initials need to be represented in the logo. We already have the domain name www.thelifetsylecompany.com.au

COPY REQUIREMENTS: The Lifestyle Company, TLC
*Note these can be integrated, but as outlined above the initials (TLC) need to be prominent

COLOURS: classic, one colour, dark/black/charcoal
* Note these are just preference only, happy to see designers suggestions and creative flair

LOOK AND FEEL: sophisticated, elegant, premium, stylish, professional, modern, contemporary, clean
* Note that I am happy to use/integrate shapes into the design, as long as they represent the look and feel elements as outlined above

FORMAT REQUIREMENTS: The winner will supply the finished design in 300 dpi and resolution of 3000 in the following formats:
EPS
JPEG
PDF
PNG
PSD or illustrator

CONDITIONS: TLC will have full rights and ownership of winning logo

  I have rated your entries accordingly to how much I think they represent the brand and brief. It is not a waste of time, you can't expect to submit an entry and win. That is not how contests work. The best, most suitable entry wins. Not just because you have submitted an entry, otherwise there would be 100 winners.
  
  Your work was very good, and I appreciate all of your time and entries. The examples of the logo within different formats was very beneficial and professional. Unfortunately, on this occassion, I feel that another entry is more suited to the brand/business that I am building.

Hello ardleighm / TLC! Please give me some feedback on any of the million logos I've submitted. Any comments (good or bad) would be appreciated. I probably spent way too much time on them, but I really like the idea and the concept of your business and was hoping to capture the 'feel' of your company with a nice, crisp design that would represent you well. If someone can give me light. How are this logos picked? Obviously the final decision is from the clietn, but I mean what does usually client look for, ex. how many likes, how many ratings, etc. and how who are the ones that usually have the right to vote on those areas, or any can how many times they want. Please help me.

  Hi, I'd appreciate you work to the brief. I am not looking for branding consulting but design for the business that I am operating. If you can't follow the brief then please do not engage with the contest. You don't fully understand te business offering or the market place that it works in. I am looking for designs not branding advice.

YOU WANT TO MAKE A STATEMENT AND BE DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER COMPANY, PLEASE DON'T CALL IT "THE LIFESTYLE COMPANY", THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF COMPANIES WITH THAT NAME. IF YOU WANT REALLY MAKE A STATEMENT CALL IT "SOCIETY". I HAVE NOT ONLY BEEN DOING LOGOS, I HAVE BEEN WORKING DOING THIS "LIFESTYLE" ENTERPRISES FOR 12 YEARS.
