I might be quite new to this site, but something I'm noticing a lot is the designs that get rated highly are not actually that persons work. For example #1, #3 and #4 are all easily available on image searches. I'm sure the contest holders want a unique design and not one that's been used somewhere before. It's easy to grab a logo off the net and type some text next to it, but where's is the fairness for people who put time and effort into their work and actually design something from scratch.
Sorry, rant over, but just thought I'd share this as it's happening too often.

  excuse me sir, first of all: do you know who did those animals?
  second: do you know how design works?
  third: why won't you apply for a detective work?
  
  don't want to be rude, but I can't tolerate your way of devaluing other people works, especially when who talks is the only person who didn't even read carefully the briefing and misspelled the only text he had to write.
  
  I'm not going to cry if my work won't be chosen, but I'm sure that the contest holder will choose the winner design judging it by his needs.
