Contest Brief

Design a logo for a social brazilian startup that will gather information from candidates in order to help people to vote and follow their candidates throughout political cycles.
The startup name is Votar Acordado. We may want use the letters VA in the logo.
Attached, follows the logo for the past name of the startup. I quite like it.
Also, I have attached the symbol that is in the shirt we've made. I believe it's too complicated for a logo. It passes a good message though.

UPDATED: Guys, I still haven´t found what I was looking for. Lets try a building blocks concept close to the new attached picture. I want a logo that is simple and trustworthy.
