Contest Brief

We need a logo for our association named Uerensol.

Here is a short explanation what we do:

The aim of the association is to facilitate and promote sustainable renewable energy sources in our village and the villages around.

We are enabling private people to take a stake in facilities, which produces renewable energy such as:
- solar power (photovoltaic, electric solar panels)
- biogas plants (use of biological waste)
- wood based heating systems
- wind and water power station
The main focus is on electric solar power.

For example: Together with these private investors (private with a low amount of money), we are building big solar power plant on a roof of a large building, which is much more efficient than one person alone can set up on the roof of his own home.

Requirements of the logo design:
- the Name of our association: Uerensol
- not compulsory: a subtitle could be included in the logo. The subtitle than would be written in german: erneuerbare Energie für Sulgen und Umgebung (Translation: sustainable renewable energy for Sulgen and surrounding area) (See attached PDF)
- a sun should be include in the logo, (a leaf or a plant in addition might look also good.)
- It should not look like a brand or typical company logo.
- it could also look like desing by hand.
- we prefer the colours green and blue
- the logos should be delivered in two versions. with transparent and fully covered background with a single color. do not use black as background.

hi there
thanks for the first submitted ideas. they look very good, but I would prefer a logo which do not look to much like a company logo. the sun should be clearer visble.
The logo could also look like designed by hand.

the subtitle is to long.
We will change the subtitle to: erneuerbare Energie für Sulgen und Umgebung.
I have recognized that some of you write the subtitle wrong, because a special character can not be shown. Now I have attached a pdf file with the wright writing.
