Contest Brief

I need a logo for my auction company, ZT Auctions, LLC. I predominantly handle live real estate, personal property, and charity auctions. I've been operating successfully for a short period of time, but I need a strong logo that I can continue to build my business around.

I'm a young auctioneer in an aging profession, so I'm looking for something new and fresh. I obviously want the name of the company in the logo. I think the addition of a gavel would look nice, or possibly an emphasis on ZT, but I'm completely open to different ideas.

I would like to have the final logo in all of the formats needed for print advertising and online advertising.

This is not a guarantee, because I'm looking for a logo that sticks out to me. However, if there is a contest winner chosen, I may be able to provide them with more work in the future by way of business cards, banners, etc...

After reviewing the entries so far, I realize that I want something bold and clean, but also a little unique. I like blues, greens, browns, black, and even orange, and I don't want purples or pinks. I think I would like the lettering ZT Auctions to be fairly large with small LLC behind it. And maybe incorporate a gavel into it somehow around the lettering.
