My App is called RateMyDate. It is an App that allows Users to rate the venue of a place that they went to on a date, like the movies / like a restaurant etc. The App Logo will become the Icon and will feature on each screen of the app. It needs to convey a message that the App lets Users make a rating about a venue that they went to on a date. The App uses a five star rating system but you do not need to include stars in the logo or icon.

I must say that I agree with achakzai 76, and wonder with pvprajit when I completely forgot what was important for the icon. Without too much detail added extra detail and shadows is not good for icons

I am Amazed with how some contests are ended with so much stupid winning designs.....the winning desig will look super Ugly as an app icon and no one will be able to see what is on Icon....I have never seen so much thing going on an Icon in my life......

  Hi and thank you for a creative and thoughtful entry. I like the look of this logo but my concern is that it would be very popular with the female users and not with the men. this is due to the dominance of the colour and probably to the heart icon. But you thought outside of the box and should be congratulated for that innovation. :-)

  Thank you for your submissions. The heart does not depict the concept of the App. The App is about rating a date venue. Imagine you had just asked someone out on a date but you weren't sure where to take them. You could use this app to help you find something suitable. You might search in the app by using filters like the location, whether the date venue was indoor or outdoors, formal or informal, private or crowded etc. So when you design the logo, think about the kind of information you'd find in the app. I hope this helps :-) thank you and good luck

  hi. it is good but please look at the entries that are achieving 4 star success. You will see a common theme and this will give you a clue. Another clue is that the logo should be gender neutral - so that it appeals to BOTH men and women :-)
