Contest Brief
Derinya Basketball Club wants to update their logo and requires a designer to update the current logo providing all artwork at the end.
The addition of a tagline in the logo and maintained as a separate image is required. The current logo is too busy and needs updating to be cleaner and more professional looking. The new catch cry is" where the stars come out to play". The use of stars is important and the basketball needs to remain. Colours for teh club are royal/navy blue and yellow. Current website is being overhauled is www.derinyabasketball.com.au but shows some examples of the colouring and artwork that exists. The desire is to keep the core design and make it modern, clean and usable in letterhead, websites and other media is critical. Lets go! I am seeking to finalise this design and need to hit the themes similar to the attached.The key wins. Basketball: Stars: Labelling: Colours. I like the Ball & Stars of Logo 1. The FONT and STYLE OF LOGO 3. The Captions of Logo One must be included. The Ability to use in all colours or single colours of Logo 7. Thanks
UPDATE: Looking at the work I like the primary logo but also like the ideas of the top right with open link to stars. I am seeking to have no flame and all stars.

the key is to have the basketball look like its coming from a star swish. the colours are royal blue and yellow predominantly but orange for ball makes sense.

and changes i guess will be repositioning the components of the logo, color harmonization with same color theme, and an improved design of basket ball, stars and the font change. Please let me know if i summarized the whole thing right.

In short you want your logo to consist of basket ball, stars, while colors to be used are yellow, blue/royal blue and orange for basket ball.
