Contest Brief

I have attached a concept of the machine I want to build along with the picture of the pattern on the botom. This is a chocolate machine so the pattern below is the Cacao fruit. I'm looking for a elegant functional exerior design of the machine. How would you make this so the panels can easily be removable?

The panels will be made of sheet metal made of stainless steel. On the top it has a touch screen where they can put the different functions.

I'm looking for unique designs.

This machine is used for Chocolate Manufacturing. The Chocolatier stands in font of it and fills molds with chocolates. The will be using this machine for several hours per day.

Hello everyone, take the time to review the pictures i have uploaded. I have mentioned that I am looking for a curved design but all i see are square designs. I am looking for luxury but no one ask me what luxury means to me so therefore there is no clear understanding of the meaning yet you continue to design not following pictures nor my comments. if you have questions ask me. I do not need to see a design of the room so better use your time on the actual machine.

I can start to move my design over to more of a curved design like one of the references you gave. I may not be speaking for all of us but when you uploaded your actual drawn out version of the machine it is very squared off so I think we were all mainly basing the design off of what you had provided. Knowing that you would like a combination of both definitely helps out. Hopefully one of us can get you a design that you really like. When you say luxury what exactly do you mean as a machine design. Are there certain things that you are looking for specifically? Thanks for the update!

Hello Robert, Yes i can see what you mean. I was not clear in that I wanted something like mine but to follow the other machines curves and style. I would like to be different though as to not copy them. I consider Porche and BMW luxury products. I also like their lines. Not too straight with some curves. We are using stainless steel panels. We can do bending and laser cut them. We need to be able to get into the machine and do service. so should be considered. usually only the back panels are what come out for cleaning. the front and side panels only come out for maintanance and we dont want to show the screws or bolts on them.

Entry number 7 is only a very rough draft model to show where I am at before going to bed. Let me know of any major shape changes and I will work on it more in the morning. Thanks!

Do you have any rough dimensions for the machine? Also, by easily removable, do you mean without any tools or is it okay if it is removable by a screwdriver?

There is a way to design it that once you remove one panel then you can remove the next panel. the idea is to not see any screws or bolts in the design. must look clean and elegant. its the BMW of machines.
