Contest Brief

These are the specs:
Colors: Red, White, Black
Verbage: MERCED(arched above the cement truck logo) CONCRETE(inverse arch below the cement truck logo)
Symbol: Cement truck (colored to match the real truck in the picture: red cab, white tank)
Style: Emblem background. Pictorial Mark(cement truck) on Emblem with Merced Concrete wrapping the emblem. Font needs to be somewhat masculine. Clean. Simple.
Format: Vector, etc.

In general it just needs to be more sexy than their previous bland logo. Here are the references of the truck and the previous logo:

The logo will be painted on the doors of the truck(red background), and placed on the top left corner of the website(white background) located at http://www.mercedconcrete.com

I have a budget of $50 for this logo. I have done all of the creative work for you by the description above. I just need someone to do the design work. I won't pay more than $75.

I like your design so far. The truck logo looks the most refined out of the submissions so far. Can you center the word "concrete" a little more as it looks a little off-center towards the left -- also any texture additions to the black circle such as a black grain or something might help as well

  Your entry is a little too plain and the detail work on the truck logo is a little too awkward when considering this may be blown up larger. I have decided to reject this entry.
