Contest Brief
I will give you six promotional exams in both DOCX and PDF. Your primary task is to turn them into one master exam of about 700 multiple-choice questions. The questions must be organised underneath the title of the resource document they originally came from, listed alphabetically so the reader can jump straight to a particular manual, policy, or chapter.
Here is what you can expect from me
• Source exams: mixed PDF and Word files
• A working example that shows the layout I have started
• A separate sheet that “best guesses” the resources for the one test that came without citations
Key points to follow
• Keep every question exactly as written—no re-wording or re-numbering other than the new sequential order.
• Where a source is missing, use the mapping I provide and slot the question beneath that resource heading.
• No full resource documents need to be inserted; simply retain the reference line that already appears beside or below each question.
• Final files must be delivered in both PDF and editable DOCX.
Deliverables
1. Master exam (≈700 questions) grouped alphabetically by resource, formatted and paginated cleanly in DOCX and exported to PDF.
2. Companion answer/index file that mirrors the same order so the exam can be marked quickly.
Tools: Microsoft Word (or Google Docs if you prefer) for editing, Adobe Acrobat for final PDF output. If you use a script or Excel to help you sort, that is fine, but the hand-off must remain in Word and PDF.
There are roughly 50 different source titles, so attention to detail is vital. If you have handled large question banks or educational compilations before, this should be straightforward. I will be available to answer any clarification questions about ambiguous references as you work. Some questions will be grouped with other question and have common chart or some sort of prior story or fact pattern need to answer the question. Please maintain the integrity of the question and make sure the information travels with the question. Maybe group the question and have sub letters like 1a, 1b, 1c if it’s theee questions that cannot be separated or should be separated.
