Project Brief — Mobile 40ft High Cube Golf Driving Range (3 Bays + Group Seating)

Overview:
We need an experienced product designer to create concept and technical designs for a mobile golf driving range using a 40ft high cube shipping container. It features 3 hitting bays with ball-tracking technology (e.g., radar/cameras) and TV screens for real-time shot data. Balls hit into a secure net system attached to the container, positioned ~10m away for visible flight while prioritizing mobility and quick setup. Internal dimensions (~12m L x 2.4m W x 2.7m H) support ~4m per bay with full driver swing clearance. Include integrated seating for friends/groups to watch and socialize comfortably alongside active players.

Step 1 is a design contest: Initial Concept Renders
• Produce 3–5 high-quality renders (exterior, interior, setup sequence) showing 3 bays side-by-side along container length, net attachments, tech integration, fold-out features, and group seating area (e.g., fold-down benches or stools along the opposite wall, seating 3–6 observers).
• Emphasize visual appeal, mobility (e.g., trailer-compatible), safety dividers (~0.3m thick netting), spacious feel per bay, and social vibe for a local council sales pitch. Include brief narrative on layout/use.
