Multiple Photo Blend and Illustration to make one Image for Colonial Voyage Cover Page
- Status: Closed
- Prize: $200
- Entries Received: 43
- Winner: Zveki
Contest Brief
I have attached a few photos and I would like you to photoshop them into one image, that looks like it is one photo image of the experience of the Colonial Voyage. You will need to use all your required skills in photo manipulation, blending, etc to make this an image. This image will be use for our Cover Page Advertisement and so the final image will need to look perfect, as if it was one image, rather than multiple images put together.
The size of the image will need to be approximately 29.7cm wide by 21cm long.
There are multiple photos here, so you don't have to use all of them. I will let you choose what works best, however please follow the requirements below specifically.
Colonial Show Photos:
* Only use the Adult performers and cut them out of the images for the final product. Do not use any of the props, background or audience at all.
Coach Photos:
* Must remove the people in this photo. Feel free to use background if it works only.
Tourist Photos:
* Must use number 7 and number 8 image. Then pick one more to use that works brilliant.
* Do not use the background of the images.
Opera House Photo:
* This must be the background and the final design must clearly show the Opera House and Harbour Bridge as is.
This will be our cover page of the experience of the Colonial Voyage which is a Travel Tour and so this must be professionally done, with a great deal of photo manipulation and photo editing, fading, blending and all the rest.

Great...do you know the perspective realism? you don't need a realistic picture, you need a collage...and that is what you have chosen.

Thank you to all who have submitted their designs. This was probably one of the hardest contests we have had to award a winner. Firstly I would like to thank everyone for their time. Your creativity, design and willingness to be part of the contest is most appreciated. After much discussion with our marketing team, we have chosen today's winner. Thank you to everyone else who was part of the contest.

Image #8 is very small, is it an absolute must?

-
Contest Holder - 9 years ago
No image is a must. Whatever you can work with and improve on would be ideal.

Hi all designers. It just hit me, that a Title of the Tour "Colonial Voyage - Sydney Day Tour" would look really nice on the design.

You've said the final image needs to be A4 in size and that it's to be used in an advertisement...assuming the intended publication size is also A4, won't there need to be some 'clear' space for type?
-
Contest Holder - 9 years ago
The final image will need to be an A4 size, however it will be placed on an A3 Poster, in the size of an A4. Therefore we will have the clear space around it. Good question though. Can't wait to see what you can do.

Im starting work on your pic :) Can you just make the contest sealed? its fair so nobody can copy our ideias :)

Yes it costs 50 cents, but you can seal your work.

Contest Holder - 9 years ago
As mentioned above, we have found that sealing a contest, does not produce the same exceptional results as opening the challenge to compete for the best.
