Contest Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based out of Oklahoma. The name of the company is Native Reels. It is a film based company specializing in short series, documentaries, and occasional fiction films.

I'd like the design to have a tribal affiliation with the Chickasaw tribe and envelop American Indian art while integrating the spirit of film making. Bold and Simple. Utilize more nature and less weaponry in the design.

  Its does not have to be related to films and I think its important to show using the logo what the company stand for as a whole and as they see themselves with their films and it shouldn't show everything the company does but what it represents as a film company. :)

  It's too basic. Not picking any submissions with a headdress, that's kind of typical and not very cultural, Chickasaws didn't wear headdresses. that's more of a midwest tribe.

Guys, no trees in the designs and include something related to film like a reel, camera, or strip of film, I'd prefer something groundbreaking, do some research on chickasaws and see what kind of symbols we use.
