Contest Brief

My clinic—Dr. Brett Phillips, ND and the 4 Seasons of Health—needs a fresh, memorable mark that people will recognize as quickly as they recognize the Nike swoosh. I’m leaning toward an abstract symbol that feels both professional and welcoming.

What I have in mind
• Visual cues: maybe weave together subtle nods to nature (leaf, tree, etc.), integrative medicine , and the four seasons (sun, snowflake, autumn leaf, spring bloom). None of these should dominate; they should merge into one clean, simple shape. We are liking the tree of life. Just not too much detail.
• Colour palette: primary blues and pure white accented with natural tones. The logo must also hold its own in solid black or solid white. Season colours.
• Style: creative, with a minimalist spirit—nothing overly ornate, yet distinctive enough to stand alone without text if needed.

Text treatment
Include the clinic name “Dr. Brett Phillips, ND” and the tag “4 Seasons of Health.” I’m open on typeface choice as long as it pairs cleanly with the symbol and scales well across print and digital assets. We want the symbol to be alone as well with no titles.

Deliverables
1. Primary logo in full colour, black, and white versions
2. Horizontal and stacked compositions
3. Vector source files (AI or EPS) plus high-res PNGs and JPGs
4. A quick style sheet noting colours (HEX/Pantone) and recommended fonts

Acceptance criteria
• The symbol feels unmistakably ours even at 1 cm tall.
• Colour variants stay legible on light or dark backgrounds.
• All elements remain balanced when reproduced in a single colour.
