Contest Brief

The App needs to have:
1. User demographics (i.e. Name, date of birth, gender, address, etc)
2. Ability to receive comma separated data to put in 3 categories (but capability to add data categories) integrated to each User:
1. Program Mode
2. Sensitivity Setting
3. Time Setting (1, 2, and 5 minutes)
This is for an exercise device, and the App must have ability to compare multiple recorded performances by each user, to look for improvement in completing the timed test.

Hi as you mentioned the App must have ability to compare multiple recorded performances by each user, to look for improvement in completing the timed test, could you please confirm the outcome you are measuring as Program Mode, Sensitivity Setting, Time Setting (1, 2, and 5 minutes) are all independent variables. Or is it the time taken to match the sensitivity setting?

Hi, it is actually the number of times the person can superimpose their light with the device light in the 1, 2, or 5 minute time frames, at any particular sensitivity setting.

Hi I am busy working on your completion, I have a few questions if that’s ok.
Will the CSV file be used to load the, Program Mode, Sensitivity Setting & Time Setting?
You say that this is and exercise device. How would you like the types of exercise record?
I assume the comparisons of performance will be done within the same exercise type.
    Thanks Paul

I am so sorry. I totally missed your question. It is a device that has 3 hanging vertical bars, each one foot apart. Each bar has 3 lights on it, separated equally and vertically. These lights have a light sensitive diode in them that can sense an external light shining on each of them. The diode has different sensitivity settings, so that the external light needs to superimpose itself on the diode from anywhere between 50ms to 500ms for the light position to switch to another light. The patient will have a light attached to their head, which they will have to superimpose on the single light from the 9 lights that is lit.

Once they superimpose on this light, and the sensitivity setting time is matched, the light on the bar will go out and another random light on one of the other bars will light up, and the patient will then have to move their head to superimpose the next light with the light on their head. THey will continue to do this for either 1 minute, 2 minutes, or 5 minutes, depending on the time setting.
