Contest Brief

Our company is looking for a new logo. The company is named CLASS, we are a big wholesale/retail shop for building materials (www.edilclass.com).
Our company has around 30 years of history. We're changing the logo for the first time.

We would like to receive some proposals with a brand image that could easily highlight the sector in which we're working in (building/construction commerce), without being too simple/banal (skyscrapers, tower cranes ecc.).

The logo should be essential/stylized, with the possibility to be displayed in monochrome (light or dark colour), or with 2/3 colours (feel free to experiment, the current company color is a green #00a773 but we could consider some changes). The font should have two lines: "CLASS" on the first line and "MATERIALI TECNICI PER L'EDILIZIA" on the second line (it means technical materials for buildings).
The general style of the logo should be "serious" (not playful fonts) but not too classic. It should have a fresh touch.

I won't upload any images because I don't want to influence your work at all (you can find our current logo on the mentioned website).
