2014 Next Killer Software Application Idea Contest
We are working on an academic research project on technology trends for 2014 as a part of an MBA thesis.
We are soliciting a contest to identify a software business idea next Facebook like which can be implemented onto a successful web based commercial software product or website. We are emphasizing mobile app based products or cloud based technology solutions.
Sectors can be anything including for example:
• Social Media
• Health Care
• Information Technology
• Business Analytics
• Big Data
As a deliverable please upload a paper minimum of 3 pages long satisfying the following:
• Describing in detail the proposed idea
• Provide high level architectural diagrams and business interactions
• Third party Technology dependencies if any
• Which business problem it solves
• What is the market size
• Current competition if any
• Differentiation of the competition
• Distribution strategy
Winner of contest may be chosen for additional work in further refining of the project idea.
