Contest Brief

We need a flyer designed for a party we are hosting. I have uploaded a bunch of reference pics for our event. The idea is entirely up to you, but it must have an African feel and be "cool" too. You don't have to use the pictures - in fact it would probably be better if you came up with a unique idea altogether. The text that must be on the flyer is as follows:

RHYTHM REPUBLIC presents TRIBAL HOUSE HK PREMIER
DJs: RYAN ASH + DJ SURGE
FREE ENTRANCE
VENUE: MAKUMBA 2/F, 38-44 D'Aguilar Street, Lan Kwai Fong

  The posters here, are my own work. That wordpress blog is my own as well. Anytime I enter a contest here (or do other designs) I post them to the blog, as a record (as well as portfolio content). Usually I leave a link in the posts to the actual contests but forgot to on the last few.
  
  I wouldn't have thought it would be an issue since both are mine and the entries aren't final. Tho I admit I am not entirely sure on the rules in this situation. Thanks for taking the time to view it though!

  It is really funny to me how many "designers" on this site are either madly searching to point out what others are doing, wasting everyone's time by posting "i can do" for every contest or constantly asking the contest holder to seal the contest...
  a lot of insecurity and inexperience, it looks like...i suggest just either doing the work and making a submission or admit that you are not skilled and search for tutorials...ugh

Hi, Ryan, I am working on a flyer for your contest here and it occurred to me, Ryan, that you may have left a key piece of information off of the flyer: the Date or Time of the party. Just wondering if you want me to add a date or a time? (You may also want to update the brief with this info too!)
