Contest Brief

Hello, I'm searching for someone that can create a logo design starting from a drawing! The sketch represents a phoenix head with wings. I DON'T NEED A TRACING JOB! The drawing is just a concept, so further elaboration is more than welcomed (even radical ones, for example: If you'd like to use symmetrical lines and forms in substitution of curves to give it a modern look, you can do that). Also:

THE ORIGINAL DRAWING IS THE FILE NAMED «AL - Logo V2 Disegno copia.jpg»

• Feel free to use colors if you'd like, yet the logo has to be good looking also in smaller, black and white versions for print;
• Elegant aggressiveness (but don't push too much!), symmetry and beauty are critical;
• The final outcome must be a fully scalable logo in an Illustrator .AI original file format.

Ok, working on this. Just a quick question, how close to the original drawing would you like the new logo?
BTW, this will be an original design, I don't use clip art.

  Hi, I would like to keep the two elements (the head and the wings). Simplicity is a plus, and also giving depth to the logo itself by using proportions, as in the drawing. The outcome should be able to be inserted into a virtual symmetrical shape, like a perfect circle or a upside-down triangle. Thank you for your interest :)
