Contest Brief
A new logo is needed for Simone Addison Photography. We are a photography company that specializes in weddings and portraits. We want a logo that fits in with our website style. Please see attached website file for logo location and colour scheme.

IMPORTANT:
- Use the words ‘Simone Addison Photography’
- Letters ‘SA’ may be used followed by 'Photography', but the full name must be present in the logo
- Don’t use too many colours – simple, neutral colours will be preferable (whites etc)
- Please DO NOT use red/pink or black in the logo - it is too harsh for the wedding style we are after.
- Logo must be easy to read (no over the top fonts)
- No stock images of a camera shutter (every photography studio has that in their logo)
We want a logo that is simple, elegant and beautiful as this is what we want our work to portray to our clients. We are considered a high-end studio where our clients expect a premium service and product and we’d like the logo to reflect this.
NOTE:
- No clip art
- No pre-made logos (all works must be original)
- Artwork must be supplied in several file formats (psd, tiff, jpeg, png etc)
- Please include colour codes and fonts with submission
- Font or graphics must be licensed
- No limitation on our usage of the logo

We want something soft and elegant, easy to read etc. Whites, creams and greys may be acceptable but harsh blacks and reds will not suit the design. We want the logo to reflect the beautiful nature of the photos.- 12 years ago

What are you looking for exactly? I checked out your website. I really like your photos. I'm an amateur photog myself, and I do agree with your point of view of 'fabrics in the wind'. Perhaps I can incorporate that into your design.

When I design a logo I need to know YOUR NEEDS.
What kind of logo are you looking for?
Are you going to revamp your website as well? I dont want to desing a logo based on a site you may not use anymore.
Is your name enough to symbolize your studio?
Should we include graphics with photo equipment? do you prefer to shoot only weddings and portraits?
should those symbols be incorporated ?
To make a logo that represents your skills I need to know details!
I need to know colors, styles, do you prefer minimalist? Elegant? modern?
do you franchise? You want to keep it personal, or you prefer to appear larger with a commercial logo?
I dont want them to mistake your logo for the other 10 studio's they are also negotiating with.
I want people's hearts to beat faster when they look at your business card, because they are so excited to do business with your studio!!
I dont want them to say "that photographer we talked to"... I want them to Say "we should go with SIMONE" !!- 12 years ago
