php - Dropdown Not Executing Queries

Contest Brief

I have a dropdown menu and a series of queries. When a user makes a selection from the dropdown and clicks the filter button the query should display the record but it does not work. There are no syntax errors. You must use php only, no javascript. The filter should execute on post only not javascript. This is probably an issue with an if else loop or braces so very easy to fix. The queries work, I have tested them in phpmyadmin.
