Contest Brief

Redesign SIMTANK logo to incorporate an ARMY TANK while staying true to the original brand logo, block font style, yellow & black colors, and outer rectangular shape. PLEASE NOTE THAT WORKING WITHIN THE EXISTING RECTANGULAR BORDER IS IMPORTANT. DO NOT CHANGE THE FONT OR COLORS.

My company has a brand called SIMTANK which has been around for 20yrs, and is doing very well. The products under this brand is a range of plastic water storage tanks. The brand tag line is STRONG.STRONGER.SIMTANK which I do not want to change.

NOW we are adding other products (non-water tanks) under the SIMTANK brand (eg. ice boxes which are super strong), so I want to move away from the "water tank" in SIMTANK, to "army tank" since that represents brutal strength, which is what the tag line is all about.

Dear contest holder, should you see this before I will upload the submissions, kindly reply to straighten out one issue which is bothering me.
It is clear to me from your past comments that the rectangular shape should be "regular", in other words, nothing should stick out of it.
But, is modifying the shape (perhaps a bit more wider or longer borders) an option? Just to clear it out.

one good idea which is stretching the brief but I don't mind because it provides some flexibility is to modify the rectangular frame around the letters SIMTANK. The frame could be increased in thickness and then changed to incorporate some of the army tank elements. Some designers have done this quite nicely. BUT DON'T LET ANYTHING STICK OUT OF THE RECTANGULAR FRAME
