Redesign of a logo for an orthopedic medical practices

Contest Brief

The existing logo of a orthopedic specialist practice should be revised.

The current logo represents a Yin / Yang symbol with man in the center . The highlighted spine is the field of study (orthopedics ) the doctor's office . The current logo looks very bad , for example, when it is used very small or very large. In addition, the name of the physician can use only bad together with the logo .

The new logo will be based on the old logo and reinterpreted so that the transition to the new logo is not too hard. The colors should remain the same.
The new logo is designed in two variants. (See attached examples)

1 ) The logo Solitary
2 ) The logo with name and specialty of the physician. The font is optional , but should preferably be free.

The current logo, as well as some of their own, unsatisfactory attempts to include the name and job title are added.


The logo should be noble , high quality, simple and stylish.

Colours:
Maroon : # A81212
Dark gray: # 504F4E

We need the logo as a vector graphic.

    who is the real owner of the contest??? your contest seems less effective than the other one, where the contest holder sealed & toped the contest!! while you say its your contest!!! whom to believe and where to submit entries???

      Logo that requires redesigning uses German, this contest holder is from Germany and there are attachments in the brief while there are none in the other contest. I've decided to use logic instead of 'effectiveness' ;-)

      After what I've seen in a considerable amount of sealed contests (after unsealing) during the past few months, I completely agree - don't seal it.

      Please do not seal the contest! Sealed contests invite the cheaters who will submit artwork they find on the internet and the honest contestants can not report them because the entries are hidden. Contestants can seal their own entries, if they want to hide them.
