Contest Brief

I need someone to recreate this image in order to be used without copyright infringement thus at least 40% of the character must be changed. Id like the image to be in black and white and to retain the overall concept. I want to keep him tipping his hat however the cane is not wanted. Id like his left hand to either be in his pocket or holding a vaporizer device like the image attached. Some suggestions to changing the image would be to add a monocle, rework his handlebar mustache, give him a nice vest under his jacket and traditional tie tucked under his vest maybe change his hat etc.. I want to keep the overall theme, this is for a brand called 'Connoisseur.' The image will then be encircled in the wreath that is attached and may cut the character off at the waist, you can do this or I can.

  create your own rendition of the image by changing it at least 40%, that is perfectly legal and commonly done in design work today.
