A Corporate Identity is a part of your remembering things of you life. So, companies always keep in mind for a simple unique out of the box design for their company logo and Branding. What in you description doesn't express that you are in need of a unique design. The illustration you asked for your logo can be of anything may be a book cover can also make with that illustration as because the idea is so generic. The designers over here who are specialize in developing Corporate Identity will never put attention on creating unique ideas your this unique name of your company. Though I know it is difficult to you to through off your thoughts, but to me you are telling stories through your logo. If in future your business expands a new wings of entirely service or production in same hood you might have to decide to include a meaningful image of that business too in the same logo, so on and so forth.

$300 for a logo is good to think of a really unique Identity for the name shedumps.com, so lets leave the creation part to the designers unless you are too kin to see what you described. I think a combination logo will really work for you and believe you will be happy on this contest by getting great designs from freelancers. Wish a grand success to all of you.

Dear Contest Holder / Project Team Lead,
The title of this contest reads "Develop a Corporate Identity".
The Design brief states: "Object or images to include: A specific illustration. The silhouette of a woman in front of a dump truck with men and women (her crew) standing behind her."
It seems to me that you already have a pretty clear idea of what the design should look like, therefore this contest is about finding a person that has the necessary software skills to bring your specific idea to life.
Please beware that the title of your contest is misleading, as this project doesn't come anywhere close to a development of a corporate identity. In the meanwhile, it's getting the attention of professionals that specialize in corporate identity development, only to realize that that's not what this contest is about. Perhaps it would be more appropriate and even beneficial to SDump if the contest title would say something like: "help needed to cary out the execution of our logo".

  Thank you for your feedback. While I am partial to the illustration of the concept that I have suggested, I am also open to other concepts. Someone may submit a concept that is so creative and different than my original idea, that it might win.

  It is great that you are open to other suggestions. However, by high-rating generic and stock-based entries, you are alienating those creative minds that are looking for customers in need of their expertise in the field.
  When freelancing designers select a contests they wish to focus on, they are looking for specific "contest characteristics" and for red flags. Bear in mind that there are hundreds of contest that are made to us available on a daily bases. These crowd-sourcing platforms might look like a battle field for designers competing for the attention of a potential client. But in reality, the competition is just as tough for the contest holders, who are on their turn (perhaps unknowingly) competing for the attention of the best designers.
