Contest Brief

Greetings Freelancers,

As the title states I am looking for logo for my website. As of right now I have a similar logo there as I use here but it was not my original intent. What I wanted was something I could not design/draw myself and it is more of combination of a knight on his horse 'CADing away' if i may.

Note, what you will read is not detailed drawing but rather an outline of what i describe to be a simple logo. I have attached just a drawing of a horse, it is the pose I want body of the horse to be in. You would not draw the whole horse but rather the contour of his upper body, head and rear, neck and tail/mane (neck hair), just enough to give a clear knowledge of what the animal is. The horse will be as if he is walking slowly or getting ready to take his first step. The horse's head would be turned 'this way' looking at us, the camera so we get a great look of his silky mane.

Atop the horse will be a knight hacking away on a laptop that has a design software of sorts on it. Similar to AutoCAD you can put crosshairs to show its a CAD program. The knight in his armor with a helmet can be looking this way or at the laptop. His face can be covered with his helmet face guard. Basically the person/human face is not important in the logo. In his left hand is a lance which will be unseen because its on the other side of his body. but the lance is showing vertically up or he has it in a fighting position. His right hand is on the laptop working. You could incorporate a a shield of sorts in there, no cross or other religious imagery on there though.

Use our imagination and see what you can come up with. Even if you wish you can improve my current logo or you can come up with something intirely different. There doesn't have to be a horse even. You can make it of just a knight and/or a knight helmet. Surprise us :D

Color choices are up to you or similar to what i have on my current logo or I really like SILVERY and BLUE themes.
Wording would have [Sir CADaLot] going off of the Sir Lancelot of way back when.

My aim with the site itself is Computer Aided Drafting, Designing, Developing and More!

I am open for questions. there is no rush, i just want the right logo.

I hope everyone as a good grasp of the understanding of brief for this project. So far Jorge has has been on the right direction even though his idea of a Knight sitting on a chair was different but maybe even better than what my description had.
