Contest Brief

I need the following illustration:
- sketch drawing, white pencil, background transparent
- open apartment with few details (eg door, window, carpet, floor), details could be drawn only partially
- same character with four different actions
1) having an idea
2) writing a story
3) making a book (handicraft work i.e. cutting, gluing)
4) presenting the book to about 8 people, some of them reading the book

- Each action happens in another part of the apartment and is set from left to right. See the scan to get a better understanding of the concept, however take it only as a very rough guideline.

On the character:
- Male or female
- European, may audience is mainly German
- Should be in his or her 30s
- Loveable (most writers should be able to relate to him or her)
- A writer type (but not professional author) -> not business men, rather an average person

wow I'm interested in working on this one. Can I get one more day for this one?! its still fine if I can't.
Also is ''apartment'' an important character of the illustration? and can I use panels/ sequential art to show different actions of the main character??

  - Make a draft. If I like your technique, we'll find a way.
  - With apartment I mean the flat the person is living in.
  - The idea is to have all four actions in one picture, walls may be fine, as long one flat.

Thanks for the entries! My candid feedback on the top 3:

On 2:
The character is not likeable enough, people need to relate to the character
The dimension and the stroke technique is a good fit

On 4:
The dimension could be little bit longer
I like the character
The stroke could be little bit neater

On 5:
The character could be a little bit older
For me it's a little bit too neat, maybe too many details
