Contest Brief

ENGLISH:
Lynx is a newborn company of development and sale of ideas, softwares, tecniques and devices that is possible to apply in the medical and dentistry area.
The know-how and experience in this area is really big, and we'll offer solution of high simplicity, intelligence, efficiency and speed, and most of that, absolute precision and reliability. These last two adjectives are ment to be very clear in the logo design.
We'd like to see the lynx, from which the company takes its name, well rendered in the logo.
The target of the company is composed by doctors, dentists and companies of the field. That said, the idea to be transmitted should not be maternal and comforting like the one doctors try to give with their logos, but its allowed and preferred something like an aggressive mood in the logo design.
The logo will be used in order to realize letter paper, rubber stamps, business cards, websites and gadgets.
We'll prefer minimalistic and engaging designs, easy to recognize and print, with a good versatility in order to make it easy to use the logo on the most common gadgets companies use for marketing purposes.
The files must be vector, better if .svg or .ai

La Lynx è una neonata azienda di sviluppo e commercializzazione di idee, software, tecniche e componentistiche applicabili al settore medico e ancora di più a quello odontoiatrico.
Abbiamo una notevolissima esperienza nell'ambito, e ci si propone di offrire al pubblico soluzioni di spiccata semplicità, intelligenza, efficienza e velocità, nonchè di assoluta precisione ed affidabilità. Questi ultimi due aggettivi vanno fortemente sottolineati e devono essere efficacemente comunicati dal logo.
Ci piacerebbe che la lince, da cui l'azienda prende il nome, sia ben evidente nel logo.
Il target dell'azienda è composto da medici, odontoiatri ed aziende del settore. L'idea da comunicare quindi non deve essere necessariamente quella di uno studio odontoiatrico, che spesso preferisce suggerire ai propri pazienti un'idea materna e rassicurante, ma è permesso, anzi preferito, un certo tono aggressivo nel look del logo.
Il logo verrà utilizzato per la realizzazione di carta intestata, timbri, biglietti da visita, sito internet, gadgets.
Preferiti design minimalisti ed accattivanti, facilmente riconoscibili, facilmente stampabili, con una versatilità tale da permetterne l'utilizzo sulla maggior parte dei comuni gadget che vengono realizzati a scopo pubblicitario.
I files dovranno essere in formato vettoriale, meglio se .svg o .ai

    I see a lot of nice ideas here, and I already see some starting points.

    But I'd like to point out an important thing: as an enthusiast graphic designer, I can recognize downloaded logos that anybody can find with a quick search on google. Please avoid proposing them.

      mentisco. Su trecento e rotti design oltre duecentottanta sono da cestinare, ma è sbucata fuori qualche bella idea evidentemente originale (non si trova tutti i giorni, ad esempio, una L ed una X, guardacaso iniziale e finale del nome dell'azienda, che disegnare in maniera intelligente formano il viso di una lince).

      Devo dire che non sono stati soldi buttati.

    Hello everybody,

    I upgraded the contest making it last 3 days more, because A LOT of very good designs are close to be ready, but I dont want good designers to be in a hurry.

    At the same time: a lot of designers asked me to turn the contest unsealed once I choose the winning design, in order to see all the different ideas others had. I'd like to ask everybody here what do you think about it. I'll read your answers here and take my decision.


    You all keep on with the excellent work, some of your ideas are BRILLIANT, and my decision will be very hard to take.

    A lot of logos had "medical and dental hardware company" written here or there, but I inserted it in the title of the contest just to make it clear for all the designers what type of company Lynx is, in order to understand what type of idea the logo has to communicate and what type of target is it for.

    Please avoid inserting "medical and dental hardware company" in the design, thanks to everybody.
