  Ultimately it will be a 2D image as a wallpaper and the programmer operates in .psd, but if someone can just create something that fits with what's in my mind so I can show the programmer that would work. So if somebody would use a 3D render to create the look, I'm sure somebody else can recreate it as .psd.

  can i design it in 3d ? i mean is it essential to design in vector or can i submit an entry done using 3d studio max ?
