  Thank you for the feedback everyone... so, do I need to go the Wordpress route to make it responsive? Perhaps that can be my next project - to create a responsive, mobile-friendly design.

  I'm really looking to only change the header section (make it 100% width of page) and background and maybe remove a column if necessary to make it look better. It just looks bad with the 3 columns and the header/links. If I can keep 3 columns, I will- I really like what AnguillaBeaches.com did but I don't want to copy that exactly. (Something like that is what I'm looking for in terms of changing the header.) I'm having trouble coming up with something that will look OK with what I have. (I don't want to make too many changes.)

  Thank you so much abbaspalash - I will fix that now.
  I have to consider the entire responsive layout idea. Very frustrating stuff - this was originally a business website but has turned into more hobby now, so I'm not really going nuts on the search engine stuff.

  The site’s alexa rank is 2,471,357 decreasing over 186,442 in last 3 months and most keyword search is the site’s name not general beach name search
  I know you don’t like word press and I do not suggest it either. But I think you should consider a responsive layout and target mobile and tablet’s users.
  It get’s 55 out of 100 score in mobile view from Google speed http://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rehobothbeachfever.com
  
  Also changing and fixing more than 125 static htmls pages is scary itself.
