Contest Brief

I am the Sales & Marketing Manager for the Higher Ground Hotel in Independence, MO. The hotel is located in the historic Independence Square district and is directly across the street from President Harry Truman's home, a national historic landmark. We are creating a hotel package deal for visitors and guest to come be apart of a Murder Mystery all-inclusive entertainment weekend centered around Truman and Independence. Attached is a flyer about the event along with a word document describing in more detail what the event entails. The contest is to create a video/commerical about this event. Attached is a audio clip which is a radio ad that we have had produced. I wold like the radio ad to be the audio for the entire commercial and have the visual graphics coincide with the audio. The entire video does not have to be strictly in-sync with the audio but for the most part keep it that way. You may be able to have a few seconds of video before and after the audio clip. I want you to use all the materials I have attached in the video but I also would like you to do some research and and use your own creative input and to making this video/commercial unique and very imaginative. It needs to promote our website as well which is www.highergroundhotel.com and also if you could somehow promote our facebook page as well https://www.facebook.com/highergroundhotelindependence
I will be posting this video to all of the social media outlets such as facebook, twitter, youtube etc. Therefore, the more entertaining and unique the better. I want to leave it up to you. Please utilize all attached materials to your advantage and try to incorporate them into the video as much as possible.

$25 for one minutes worth of animation. Definately a cool project but if it is a contest with a prize of $25 you won't get many entries nor will they be good in terms of quality, just not worth it.

  Thank you for your reply. I have recently discovered Freelancer and I am giving it a try for the first time therefore I do not know what to expect. I have not ever outsourced any media requests like this before and was just trying to see what is out there. I have chosen to do this on my own out of my own pocket to help kick start this murder mystery campaign. I am sure that if this video is a success I can convince my superiors that this is a reliable source and they will offer up a lot more money. So, I appreciate your feedback and even more so appreciate you putting forth an effort. Thank you so much. Also I have increased the prize amount to $50 if they is any consolation.

  Thank you, you are very polite. I will give it a shot, but since i live on the other half of the planet it will be hard for me to shoot footage of the area and most if not all of the footage on the web is copyrighted. Maybe i 'll do some painting animations and we ll see if you like it!
