Contest Brief

Hi,

We are looking to expand our t-shirt range with a Geeky Owl related design. We currently have one design in this direction: http://www.bytelove.com/the-owl-says-w00t/a-3410/ but would like to get more owl designs with other angles and styles (read not so simple).

T-shirt colour: Black or white
Format: Vector based 5 colors max
Motive: Front print only, no back or sleeve print.

Big chance for returning work for whoever wins.

      Hey crayonscrayola , nice draw , the concept is exactly like mine , only detailed hand drawn but the head, the Owl size (and volume) , and joystick looks the same , but hand drawn and one line missing on top of the eyes, . Very nice.

    As to what the owl should be doing we have no preference as such however some of the common themes are ninja owls, hipster owls and so on. Again, the winner usually has presented us with something we didn\'t think about ourselves.

    Hi, first of all we like to be suprised. We\'ve held t-shirt contests before at the more common design platforms and this is the first time we try freelancers version. What we\'ve learned from those contests and why we like them is that the winner has usually presented something that we ourselves didn\'t thikn about at all.

    As to cartoon vs realistic look I\'d ay more likely is a \"cartoon\" based drawing but this just because I think a realistic look will be so much more time consuming to get into a \"printable design\".

    Another note I might add is that don\'t be afraid to put just your concepts up either, we\'ve had many times in the past that a not so good designer has put up a good concept which was then finalized by another designer in the competition, we\'ve then awarded money to both.
