Contest Brief
READ THIS FIRST
1. This contest asks for EXACTLY 3 IMAGES — nothing more. The winner also receives a paid follow-on commission (details at the end).
2. THIS IS NOT A CHARACTER DESIGN CONTEST. The character already exists — she is in the attached reference. Your job is to reproduce HER, exactly. Entries showing a different face, a "similar" woman, or your own character concept will be REJECTED without review, no matter how beautiful they are. If your image does not look like the SAME PERSON as the attached reference, do not submit it.
WHO WE ARE
We are a tech platform creating "Elza," our AI brand ambassador. She is openly an AI avatar — we are not recreating or imitating any real person. The goal is a cinematic, high-end character identity, not a generic corporate talking head.
AESTHETIC REQUIREMENT
The attached canon reference was created in Midjourney v6.1 and defines the look: warm, editorial-cinematic, photographic realism. Your output must match this aesthetic. You may use ANY tools and pipeline — we judge results, not process.
THE CHARACTER — IDENTITY IS LOCKED. NO CREATIVE FREEDOM ON THE FACE.
Every one of these must match the attached reference exactly:
- Same facial structure, same face, same person
- Green-grey eyes
- Light freckles across nose and cheeks
- Chestnut wavy bob with soft curtain bangs
- Warm, natural, editorial-cinematic look
Do not change her age, face shape, eye color, nose, lips, skin tone, hair color, or hair length. Do not "improve" or restyle her. The ONLY changes allowed are the corrections listed below.
THE ONLY CORRECTIONS WE WANT (everything else stays identical)
- Hair: stray strands currently read frizzy and artificial. Hair must look styled and structured with natural strand flow — no AI frizz artifacts.
- Lips: currently slightly waxy and uniform. Must show natural lip texture.
- Skin: keep the realism — pores, freckles, natural tone. Do NOT over-smooth or beautify into a generic AI face.
- JEWELLERY: NONE. The reference shows gold hoop earrings — REMOVE them. The character wears NO jewellery in any delivered image: no earrings, no necklaces, no rings, no piercings. This applies to all 3 entry images.
YOUR ENTRY — SUBMIT EXACTLY 3 IMAGES
1. Canon recreation: the attached reference image, same character, same mood, with the hair and lip corrections applied. Fully retouched.
2. Expression: full smile with visible teeth, frontal, soft even lighting — SAME person as the reference.
3. Wardrobe test: completely different outfit (your choice — no white blazer), same aesthetic — SAME person as the reference. This tests identity separation from clothing.
Technical: minimum 4000px on the long edge, no watermarks, no borders.
JUDGING CRITERIA (in order)
1. Identity match: all 3 images must be unmistakably the SAME woman as the attached reference, including after the outfit change. This criterion eliminates entries before anything else is considered.
2. Realism of hair, lips, and skin after retouching
3. Match to the canon's editorial-cinematic aesthetic
4. Overall retouch craftsmanship
RIGHTS AND CONDITIONS
- Work-for-hire: full, exclusive commercial rights to all delivered images transfer to us on payment.
- The delivered images and the character may not be reused, published, or shared, and no AI model may be trained on this character by anyone other than us.
- The character must not replicate or resemble any real, identifiable person.
- Any AI tools may be used, but final delivery must be retouched to professional standard — raw generations will not be accepted.
TO ENTER
Submit your 3 images. In your entry notes: (1) state which tools you used, (2) describe your experience producing consistent character image sets — ideally with an example of the same AI character rendered across multiple images — and (3) confirm your availability for the follow-on project
⚠️ IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS — SUBMISSION FORMAT
We are receiving many entries as composites (collages, grids, strips of 2–3 photos in one image). These can NOT be properly evaluated: composites cut off the hair, reduce resolution, and hide the actual quality of your work.
From now on:
✓ Submit each of the 3 required images as a SEPARATE, individual upload
✓ One photo per image — full frame, nothing cropped
✓ No collages, no grids, no side-by-side strips, no text labels, no borders, no software screenshots
✓ Minimum 4000px on the long edge per image
✗ Composite entries will no longer be rated or considered. If you already submitted a composite, please resubmit your work as 3 separate full-resolution images — we will gladly review it then.
The 3 required images and all other rules remain exactly as described in the brief. Thank you — we are seeing strong work and want to be able to judge it properly.
