Contest Brief

I need a photograph of a fabric lace pattern re-drawn so that it is suitable for laser cutting as a wedding invitation pocket. Lots of detail required and MUST be laser cut compatible...i.e. remaining pieces are joined so they don't fall out in the laser cutting process. See the attached eps file for the dimensions and example of another invitation I just did. We need more detail than the sample one attached..a little more delicate with flowers, leaves and lace etc. Outside edges to match those of the lace photos, must be true to the lace design but without large blank areas in the pattern. The invitation will open out the same as the eps sample attached.
I only really need one side done...I can duplicate to create the other side and add the back cover etc.
Height will be 9.25" and width proportional - see the eps sample for dimensions. Must close in the middle...I will add a monogram. Absolutely must be

Employer Feedback

“Denysmuzia did the most amazing job for us! Our project brief was to recreate an intricate lace design (from a photo), for laser cutting a wedding invitation pocket. Others have difficulty understanding the requirements for laser cutting - i.e. that objects join correctly with no overlapping cut lines etc so that the laser cut result works. Denys nailed it! Absolutely perfect - I didn't have to give any further instruction - just great and we will definitely use this designer again for future work. Fast, efficient and really high quality work. Thanks again for saving my life this week!”

Hello I am interested in developing the project, I would like to know if it should be exact to the model of the wedding dress, or want other proposals in that same trend. Thanks so much.

      Hi Jackelinmd
It should be recognizable as the lace from the bride's dress - so the same type of flowers, leaves, etc. And the edging could be used along the outside edge of the pattern.

I am working in detail to make it look as much as possible to the dress design, and this one can make a set of graphics pieces. Thanks for your answer.

The final image can be very delicate and detailed - it needs to look elegant and delicate for a wedding invitation, but still practical to laser cut. The image must remain true to the bride's lace so that it is recognizable as the same lace. Include detail in the leaves, and petals etc. We can laser cut fine lines.

Hi. you. You need the vectorization of the patterns that appear in the images. Or new patterns?
