Contest Brief

I’m ready to refresh my brand with a logo that performs everywhere—from crisp letterhead and email signatures to embroidery on polos and an adaptable favicon for the website. The look I have in mind sits right between modern-sleek and classic-elegant, yet it still needs to feel bold enough to stand out.

Design direction
• Style: Transitional—clean lines and balanced proportions, not ultra-minimal but not ornate either.
• Elements: You may use a custom symbol or icon if it reinforces the concept, but please avoid stock imagery. A strong treatment of the business acronym alone could work just as well. The business is involved in investing in various businesses such as automotive and even other service-based businesses but no automotive silhouettes please.
• Typography: I’m drawn to expressive faces such as Long Cang, Starzy 3, Kalam, and Stephen Type. Feel free to suggest close alternatives that capture the same character (see attached samples)

Practical requirements
• Scalability: Must remain legible from ¾-inch embroidery up to storefront signage.
• Colour system: Provide a full-colour version plus single-colour and reversed options so I can drop the mark onto dark, light, or photographic backgrounds without tweaks.
• File delivery: AI, EPS, SVG (vector masters) and hi-res PNG/JPG in several preset sizes. A DST or other embroidery-ready file is a plus.
• Usage sheet: brief PDF showing safe-space, colours (CMYK, RGB, Pantone), and minimum size guidelines.

Acceptance criteria
1. Logo reads clearly in print, web, and stitched formats.
2. No pixelation or unwanted artefacts at any test size.
3. Typeface licensing must allow commercial use without additional fees.
