For example, I like the darker grays and blues in some of the other designs, opposed to these lighter colors. Also, is there a way to make the man, the 'i' in 'Internship'?

I like how you have integrated the idea of business and academics (tie + graduation cap). It just doesn't as crisp as some of the other designs, but I like this as a start.
