Contest Brief

I recently completed a Virtual Workshop using Zoom that lasted 3 days and we had several sessions that we recorded and I need a detailed video editor to break the sessions out into separate video modules for the key sessions. For this contest, I am seeking a video editor that I can hire ongoing to do this kind of detailed engagement, finding the start and end points of the videos, viewing for technical glitches, smoothing of audio, clipping out long pauses where the presenter had a technical issue and fixing, and generally creating a product that we provide access to for our clients. The right editor will be astute to what a finished product should look like and add our branding at the beginning and end as well as how to contact us for more information. Our website address, our logo, etc. should be emphasized at the end and a nice opening at the beginning. Please pay particular attention to this project and we will have plenty more in the future.

    Ishmam, I apologize that I missed your link to the full video of foureyes. Nicely done. A more simple opening would work too but I think this works to demonstrate what you can provide so I wouldn't change anything at this point.

    Chimnoy, I really like the opening and closing of your entry and believe that is the direction I would like to go. I also like how you started right before the actual session for the workshop and captured that introduction and then wrapped it up after the question and answer session. Thank you for your entry.

    Abhijeeta, thanks for your entry. I would clip out all the beginning video from the opening of the overall event and just start with the introduction of each session where I introduce the speakers and then start the video. We can then wrap up after the q & a session and then have an outro that directs them to our website to see other workshop videos.

    Hi Ishmam, the only thing I would be looking for is any corrections if there are any technical hiccups that are correctable or any long pauses that can be deleted out to make it flow better. The presentations do not need any overlays or anything as they are good as they are.

    Hi!
    Just went through the dropbox video link you provided in the brief. I could see those 4 main presentations are around 40-60 mins long without editing and after editing there will be 4 individual videos of around 30-40 mins. This can be done by me with ease by fixing any technical issues, pauses, or removing any unwanted noise.

    And to add, I can also be able to add your branding, suitable intros, and outros to those videos. However, it would be really great if we could discuss it a bit so that the project could be carried out smoothly.

    Hi Ishmam, I saw your entry and I don't really know what you were trying to achieve there. It doesn't have an opening and it's after the actual presentation so it's definitely not what I am looking for. There were 4 main presentations and I am looking for someone to retrieve them from the video file and carve out 4 individual videos for just those presentations and the question and answer sessions afterwards. Ideally, you would have an opening visual that says something like...Outsell Presentation at the Kain Automotive Clients and Friends Workshop and use our logo. At the conclusion, I'd imagine a closing visual that says something like, "Thanks for viewing, for more presentations from the Kain Event, please visit our website at...KainAutomotive.com

    Hi Abhijeeta, I would skip all the opening elements and just carve out the individual presentations. If you feel it is helpful to have a similar opening at the beginning of each one, that would be good to weave in where I kick off each presentation.

    Hi David, I had a question. Do you want the part where you are introducing everyone and the sponsors as a part of the first module or do you wish for it to be omitted?     Hi, I am not sure why the other Freelancer's are requesting private messaging, any questions and answers can be posted here for all Freelancer's to benefit from.
