Contest Brief

Our current website: www.legacyapiaries.com

We will be using the winner of this contest for 15 projects in the near future. Please make your designs great and you will earn a lot of business.

Contest Requirements

o Complete the design of the home page
o After we love your design, we will ask that you make a mock-up of the blog page in a similar fashion (You will only be required to do this if we ask you to proceed)
o The design needs to be to very artistic, clean, and unique. We DO NOT want an average run of the mill template that can be created without thought.
o We need our new site to have a fresh new look but still be recognizable to our customers
o We do not like the yellow on our current website
o PLEASE DO NOT use a pre-designed template as we are very aware of what they look like and will not select your entry if you use one.

Here are some helpful notes:

Our site needs something that defines it and catches people's eyes. We'd like it to be simple (NOT CHEESY), and we think we would love to see big images of our products in a central photo.

We are looking for a homepage that is custom, clean, eye catching and will display our products in a GREAT way!

There are websites that have those great custom aspects, for example:
(http://www.beethinking.com/) It's the beautiful photos of the products displayed, but yuck on the template ecommerce site
(http://www.freelancer.com/) It's the Colorful Origami Birds,
(http://www.stephencaver.com/) It's the Worn Look,
(http://www.ipolecat.com/) It's their consistent cartoony art style,
(http://www.citrus7.com.br/) It's their interactive art,
(http://www.gs3internet.com.br/) it's their very colorful eye popping central image.

Also, please do not use our previous sites product images to preview the design prototype to us (the ones with the prices), we won't be using the same style for this site (there will be no giant yellow price ball, or big red banner) USE A HIGH QUALITY/RESOLUSION PRODUCT PHOTO IF YOU HAVE TO, we aren't so much concerned with the content just yet, as the design, so if you need a high quality image to show off your nice design, feel free to use something else that will demonstrate what it could look like.

We have attached our vector logo as well as the functional requirements that might help in designing
