Contest Brief

Looking for someone to create a design which will be engraved on the outside of my wedding ring.

The wedding ring will be 5 mm in width and the size will be US 9 1/2 (T) and made in palladium.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for hence this competition. I'm interested in space, science, scepticism, atheism, programming, gaming and technology. I would like to see what you can come up with from these topics. Surprise me.

One possible idea I had was a galaxy, stars (maybe some could be actual gemstones) and Mt Taranaki (I'm from Taranaki, New Zealand).

I am after a professional, clean and modern, black and transparent design. The file format needs to be SVG. If layers need to be done (for different depths), then multiple SVG files can be done to achieve this.

I have attached a couple of images which show examples of the detail produced by the laser engraver that will be used. The plate was about 5x10 cm.
