Contest Brief
We are an apartment complex based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States. As our complex heads into a grand opening of July 2014, we are beginning to start our marketing efforts regarding the complex and are looking to create a tagline or slogan for our complex.
The target demographic for our complex is young professionals in the 27-35 age group. We are seeking people who enjoy the convenience of living in our borough for its downtown nightlife benefits, but also want to return at night to an apartment that offers superior quality compared to many of the other options in our area.
Some key elements of our slogan that we'd like to somehow hit are our proximity and convenience to the downtown borough, the quality of our units and complex as a whole, and the "cool" factor of living at our complex. One think we would like to note is that our apartments are all single bedrooms and they are small! But we want this small size to come off as cool. This is a trend that we are adopting.
Some ideas we've played with but haven't stuck include "Modern Borough Living" and "Where the Borough Lives." Hopefully this helps give some direction as to where we want to head with this slogan.

I'm a big fan of these short and sweet slogans. I've liked this one a lot from the beginning. My only advice if you plan to submit more is to just keep playing with words. See what you can do with "serene." I like all of the words you have, but if I had any suggestion to play around with, that'd be the word I'd start with.

My only advice with #184 is that that style will likely not be incorporated into the logo so it doesn't necessarily work for this project. I do like your originality however.

what do you think on #204 ? It's an amendment of my #152 , i think it targets younger but it a bit cluttered, but theres also room for interpretation, depending on how you read it. Basically People will see what they want to see.

I'm actually a bit confused by the bottom portion and don't think it adds value to the top. The top was good as it was, but I thank you for reaching further with your ideas.

I guess if it needs explaining, it just isn't working, but my direction was 2 fold thoughts. Young people, network all the time, whether it's business or pleasure. I guess i was thinking young tech boom individuals, and professionals, its meant to read like business, or pleasure, network your way, or it could be taken like Business=Network. Pleasure-Your Way. reading into how the eye of the beholder decides. I know it's alot. I guess, the overall gist is that this is a place to conduct both, possibilities for whatever the individual wants. what if i slim down the second part and make it less cryptic?

It's a bit bland of a slogan for me unfortunately. Hopefully some more edgy words come out of future drafts.

These are close to the mark. Short and to the point. My best advice is try to steer away from the word 'luxury.' While they are nice apartments, we also think the word luxury caters to an older demographic.

This is a bit off the mark. It seems more focused on that part of people's lives and not so much on how the apartments play into that being the best phase of their lives.

Thank you for the suggestions. Well, I am no expert but the people you are trying to target do believe that they are young enough to party and have a happening life. If anything, you do need a tagline that complements this belief of their's. This bold ad says exactly that in an in-your-face way. So it's my personal favorite.
After you reply, I did create #191 , #192 and #193 . Please do leave your valuable comments. Thanks.- 11 years ago

Don't get me wrong, they totally still go out and enjoy the nightlife scene. We just don't want our campaign to rest on the idea of being where the party is. I think your updates still give off the vibe we are looking for, but are less direct than your original slogan which we do like. We want people to know that we are the place to be without explicitly stating it. Hopefully that helps. #192 is probably our favorite of yours so far. Steer close to this one.

Sorry, these are all a bit off the mark. The first few make it sound like a hotel almost. These are apartments where people will be living for a while.

I like this idea a lot. Very unique. Only thing I'm curious about is how it will hit our 27-35 target market. Keep that in mind, but I like this start.

These are cool and on the way there. Not quite hitting, but almost there. One quite suggestion. Instead of "uptown" use "downtown." No need to change the current ones to say that, I imagine what they are with "downtown."

Off the mark, sorry. Don't use "borough" as a dwelling. The borough we are in is just a small town.

Don't feel the need to incorporate "borough" into your slogans. While it would be cool to have it, we are open to other ideas and don't want the word to feel forced. Aside from that, steer away from use of the word "studio." These spaces are not trying to be marketed as studios.

Also, on that note, the name of the complex will be called "The Lofts" as well. Not sure if that dictates your thoughts, but figured I'd pass that along.

Hey Guys,
A lot of good ideas coming in so far. A lot of us are overusing the word "borough" to fit to our description however. Don't feel the need to do this. We don't need a play on words, but really just something short and in the consumers face. Make it cool, make it compact. Keep in mind we are searching for consumers in the 27-35 age range.
Thanks,
