Before making changes, I would first identify where the catalog and its associated files currently exist and determine whether the issue is related to synchronization, file location, catalog corruption, or an accidental move/deletion. The recovery process would include: Locating the original Lightroom catalog and backup catalogs Checking .lrcat and related Lightroom files Reviewing OneDrive sync status and version history Checking for duplicate or conflicted catalog files Identifying the most recent usable catalog Recovering Lightroom metadata, ratings, keywords, collections, flags, and edits where available Verifying photo-file paths and reconnecting missing folders if necessary Checking Lightroom catalog integrity Creating a safe backup before making any recovery changes I would not start by reinstalling Lightroom or randomly moving the catalog, since that could make the recovery more complicated. If the original catalog is damaged or unavailable, I would also check available Lightroom catalog backups and OneDrive previous versions to determine whether a recent recoverable copy exists.
