Relevant Skills: ● Hardware design and PCB development (Expert) - Custom PCB design: Rigid, Flex and Rigid-flex technologies. - EDA tools: Altium Designer, OrCAD and KiCAD. - System-level design and project planning. - Schematic capture and library management. - Multilayer layout design following IPC and industry best practices. - High-speed digital, mixed-signal, RF/wireless, and power electronics design. - Interfaces: DDR, LVDS, HDMI, SATA, USB, Ethernet. - Circuitry: DC-DC converters, MCU/MPU/SoCs, ADCs/DACs, sensors, etc. - Familiar with PCBA manufacturing/assembly requirements and DFM/DFT rules. ● MCU Firmware programming (Advanced) - Languages: C, C++, Rust, ARM Assembly. - IDEs and tooling: Eclipse-based, VSCode, bare-metal toolchains, Make/CMake. - Firmware architectures: Bare-metal, RTOS, HAL/LL APIs. - RTOS: FreeRTOS, Zephyr (hands-on experience). - Ecosystems: STM32 (HAL/LL), Espressif (ESP-IDF), Nordic (nRF SDKs). - Version control: Git and SVN. - Familiarity with MISRA C/C++ standards - Architectures: ARM Cortex-M/R, Xtensa (ESP32). - Driver development: I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, PWM, external ASICs. - Protocols & stacks: BLE, LoRaWAN, HTTPS, MQTT. ● Embedded Linux development (Intermediate) - Linux for custom hardware platforms (MPUs). - Yocto Project: Linux distribution configuration and build. - Device tree and kernel driver development (sensors, ASICs, etc.).- Application development in C, C++, Python, Rust. - ARM Cortex-A architecture familiarity. ● FPGA & HDL Development (Intermediate) - FPGA/SoC development using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL. - Platforms: Xilinx Spartan-7, Zynq-7000; Intel (Altera) Cyclone, MAX series. - Custom IP design and hardware/software integration. - Familiarity with AXI/AMBA bus architectures.
