We are a group of 10 people (7 adults and 3 kids [aged 7-10] ) and we wanted to take a week off in the end of March. We planned to go to Hong Kong and Macau for 9 days but the cost of the trip is too much. When we travel we prefer to stay in a five star property. Thus we were wondering if there are alternate locations where we can go and its not very expensive. One option is Phuket, Thailand. Staying there for six nights is reasonable compared to Hong Kong. We prefer a balanced trip whereby we can relax also and do sight seeing. We live in New Delhi. Please suggest if Phuket is a good bet or if there are alternates.
